Diablo 3 Naked Monk VS Skeleton King
The Monk was a little more difficult to kill Leoric if compared to the only other Diablo 3 melee class which is the Barbarian. However, I managed to sneak through the kill using the evasion Mantra, Breath of Heaven (Heal), Crippling Wave (With Resolve Passive Skill) to reduce my enemies attack speed and movement speed. There may have been some changes since Patch 13 as Blizzard added Skill Runes and such but this was a Pre-Patch 13 recording.
Diablo 3 Monk Solo PvE Skill Build.
As with every class you decide on, a Monk is no exception when it comes to keeping yourself alive while dealing damage to enemies. Although melee, the Monk’s utility belt is very wide-spread and has many tools to choose from. The Monk has the ability to heal himself, buff allies and debuff enemies, move quickly through masses of enemies and many more. The only downside to the Monk is that he is melee only but he does have a few skills which increase his range which makes the area of influence he controls larger than the Barbarian’s.
Diablo 3 Monk Group PvE Skill Build.
Based on the PvP Skills the Monk has available to them, the Monk class does have many roles available. In a group I would say they have the most flexible time as even their defensive Skills deal damage while their offensive Skills provide some form of utility. I have not yet experimented with many builds for the Monk as of yet but I will update on that soon.
For now, take note that many of their Skills affect all your allies and as such provides incredible amounts of support for any group encounter. “Breath of Heaven” heals all allies, your “Mantras” affect your allies as well as yourself, making the Monk the pinnacle of support classes. Although that is the case, the Monk can easily customize their skills to deal killer amounts of damage in the frontlines as well.
Diablo 3 Monk PvP Build.
Similar to the Group PvE setting, fairly often in PvP you will be in a group. That being said, you will need to decide if you want an all-around effective Monk or to shine in a specific role. Your choice will be between the Damage Dealer of the group, a Support role, or perhaps Utility and Crowd Control. Even from the early levels of 10 and above the Monk had access to Skills which would reduce the Attack Speed and Movement Speed simply by dealing damage to their enemies which would seem perfect in a PvP environment as the Monk would be able to stick on a target and prevent them from getting away. Get more on that from my detailed Diablo 3 Monk guide here.
