This first vid is more for entertainment purposes but it still shows off the survivability the Barbarian class has with just basic skills. This was done in Patch 12 of the Beta which means the Skill Rune system wasn’t implemented yet as well.

Diablo 3 Barbarian Solo PvE Skill Build.

Here is a short summary of a Barbarian Skill tree I intend to experiment with in Solo PvE. A hugely important part of flying solo is that you and you alone will have to perform every role which is to tank, deal damage as well as keep yourself alive. This is not and will never be the end-all be-all of Barbarian builds but it does give you nearly every tool you’ll need. Also when creating builds you should take into account the difficulty level you’re playing in as lower levels survivability is not an issue and killing enemies quicker will prove more efficient.

Diablo 3 Barbarian Group PvE Skill Build.

This version of Diablo 3′s Barbarian Skill Build is specifically if I’m playing with friends where I’m certain there will be no lack of Damage Dealing to spread around. It primarily focuses on survival which makes taking down Bosses and Rare Enemies a lot easier and safer. Of course, as I mentioned in other builds, it varies based on the difficulty level you’re in. One thing to note when you’re in a group is the difficulty scales based on the amount of players in your game which may affect your decision.

Diablo 3 Barbarian PvP Skill Build.

PvP in Diablo 3 has always been fairly subjective. In the recent Blizzcon there were pre-set Skill Builds for all the classes and the Barbarian class was a hell of a juggernaut to deal with. This PvP Skill Build I intend to try is aimed at survival and ensuring my target stays within melee range of me. The idea behind it is to have as much up-time of my damage to maintain pressure on an enemy which is where the crowd control via snares is important. There are alternative Barbarian Skill Builds which may focus more on burst damage to kill opponents that I will experiment with and list in my Diablo 3 barbarian guide, but I’ve always preferred to provide synergy within groups whether in PvE or PvP.
